Zydrunas Ilgauskas missed the Cavaliers' game Sunday against Chicago because of a strained back, and coach Mike Brown said he isn't sure when the 7-foot-3 center will return. Ilgauskas didn't practice Saturday and was examined by team doctors. "It's kind of a day-to-day thing," Brown said. "More than anything else, it's a precautionary measure. He needs a rest." Ilgauskas, one of the team's most consistent players, is averaging 13.5 points and 9.6 rebounds a game.

Bosh could miss week with right knee pain
A swollen and painful right knee could keep Toronto Raptors All-Star forward Chris Bosh sidelined for about a week. Bosh missed Sunday's game against Charlotte, two days after he left in the fourth quarter when the knee flared up. Bosh, Toronto's top scorer and rebounder, initially was injured Monday against the Pacers. An MRI on Saturday revealed no structural damage. "I'm just waiting until I don't have any more pain," Bosh said Sunday. "That's my biggest concern right now.
