Billups sore, unsure he can go in Game 4
Chauncey Billups said Thursday he was still sore, a night after he was forced to leave the Pistons' loss to Orlando in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals because of a strained right hamstring. The All-Star guard said he isn't sure if he will be ready to play in Game 4 on Saturday in Orlando. The Magic's 111-86 victory Wednesday cut the Pistons' lead to 2-1. "Just going to take it one day at a time and see what happens," Billups said.

The Pistons said Billups' return was questionable. He got tied up with Orlando's Jameer Nelson on a drive to the basket. Nelson's leg caught Billups', and the Pistons' All-Star fell to the court. McDyess returns from surgery to join Pistons
Pistons forward Antonio McDyess was active for Game 4 against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday, but not in the starting lineup a day after he had surgery to repair a broken nose. McDyess wore a mask to protect the nose broken in the third quarter of Game 3. He returned to Detroit on Saturday for surgery to fix the nose and returned later that night. "I didn't go through all this yesterday not to play," McDyess said before Game 4.

Pistons forward Antonio McDyess returned to Detroit on Saturday and had surgery to repair the broken nose he suffered in Game 3 of their playoff series with Philadelphia. Pistons coach Flip Saunders said McDyess' availability for Sunday's Game 4 would depend on how he felt after surgery.
